Preliminary Base 1. Mountain fold in half vertically. Unfold. Mountain fold in half horizontally. Unfold. 2. Turn over. Mountain fold diagonally in half, bringing one corner to the opposite. Unfold. Mountain fold digonally in half the other way. Unfold. Turn the paper so it looks like a diamond. 3. Place your fingers on the right and left points and press them inward. The model will fold up automatically on the folds made in the first two steps. 4. Flatten the model to complete the Preliminary Base.
